How One Small Change in My Morning Transformed My Life

I used to be a serial snoozer. Mornings were a mess—rushed, chaotic, and uninspiring. I’d wake up late, check my phone, and start the day in a fog of distractions.

One day, I read something that stuck with me:

“Win the first hour of the day, and you’ll win the rest of it.”

So, I decided to experiment. Instead of snoozing my alarm, I got up and stretched for 5 minutes. Then, I grabbed a notebook and wrote down three things I was grateful for.

That was it.

At first, it didn’t feel like much. But within a few weeks, something shifted. My mornings became intentional. I started feeling calmer, more in control. That small change—just five minutes—created a ripple effect that made my entire day more productive.

The lesson? You don’t need a complicated morning routine. Start with one small habit. Something simple. Something doable.

And watch how it transforms your life.
