The Night That Changed My Life: A Lesson on Procrastination
I still remember that night. It was past midnight, and I was lying on my bed, mindlessly scrolling through my phone. Another day had slipped through my fingers. Another day of “I’ll start tomorrow.”
But tomorrow never came.
This cycle had become my reality—big dreams, zero action. I wanted to be more productive, start something meaningful, but I kept postponing. Until one night, I asked myself:
“What if I just start… right now?”
It wasn’t some grand moment of motivation. Just a simple thought. So, instead of scrolling, I got up, opened my laptop, and wrote for 10 minutes.
That’s it. Just 10 minutes.
The next night, I did it again. And again. And something unexpected happened—those 10 minutes turned into an hour. Then two. Over time, this small habit snowballed into a lifestyle change.
I learned that progress isn’t about big leaps—it’s about small, consistent steps. If you’re stuck in a loop of procrastination, don’t wait for the perfect moment. Start messy. Start small.
Just start.
